Althea by Zin
An artisan bakery and patisserie offering freshly baked bread, pastries, and coffee. The bakery fuses local organic and biodynamic ingredients, and blends traditional baking techniques with a modern touch.
Old Wheels Grind
Cinnamon doughnuts & locally roasted coffee, made in front of you from a vintage Land Rover. Open fires in winter, shade in summer. Unique, fun and a particularly easy spot to take young kids.
Wineries.
Bunnamagoo Estate.
Owned by the Paspaley family, Bunnamagoo produces elegant, cool-climate wines using grapes from their Mudgee and Rockley vineyards. Their cellar door offers a relaxed setting to taste their range, including standout reds and sparkling wines.
Burnbrae Wines.
A laid-back, welcoming winery with a historic 1880s cellar door. Burnbrae is a great place to enjoy a casual wine tasting, especially on Sundays when they host live music and serve woodfired pizzas.
First Ridge Wines.
Specializing in Italian varietals like Sangiovese and Vermentino, First Ridge is great to visit. Their cellar door, made from repurposed shipping containers, offers fantastic views over the vineyards.
Logan Wines.
With a modern glass-walled cellar door offering panoramic views, Logan Wines is a must-visit for both the wines and the setting. Their contemporary approach to winemaking results in a fresh take on classic varietals.
Lowe Family Wine Co.
This certified organic and biodynamic winery is known for its bold reds and stunning vineyard views. It’s also home to The Zin House, a well-regarded restaurant that focuses on seasonal, local produce.
Pieter van Gent Winery
DescriThis winery introduced Chardonnay to Australia and is also known for its fortified wines, including the popular Mudgee White Port. The rustic cellar door is a nice spot to take your time over a tasting.
Robert Stein Winery.
Best known for its award-winning Rieslings and full-bodied reds, Robert Stein is a well-established name in Mudgee’s wine scene. The on-site motorcycle museum adds a unique touch to the experience.
Rosby Wines & Gallery.
A boutique producer with a strong focus on sustainability. Alongside its premium, small-batch wines, Rosby is home to an impressive sculpture garden featuring works from local and national artists.
Yeates Wines.
A family-run vineyard producing small-batch, minimal-intervention wines. Their beautifully designed cellar door provides a relaxed and intimate setting to enjoy tastings while overlooking the vineyard.
